Assess
Look at the watch, note its condition, and discuss with the customer before starting.
Service
Carry out only the agreed work, with care taken at every stage of disassembly and reassembly.
Verify
Check seals, timing, and function before the watch is considered ready to return.
Document
Provide the customer with a note, timing reading, or written summary as appropriate.
Battery and Pressure Check
A neat battery replacement paired with a seal and pressure check, keeping a quartz watch comfortable around water and weather. Suited to daily wearers. Usually same-day. Includes a case clean and a friendly note on the next check.
What is included
- Quality replacement battery, correctly rated for the movement
- Gasket condition check and basic seal test
- Case back tightened to the correct torque
- Case and crown wipe-down
- Brief written note with battery type and next check date
Process and timeline
- Watch received and logged
- Back removed and battery type confirmed
- New battery fitted, gasket examined
- Pressure test carried out
- Case reassembled and cleaned
- Watch returned with note — usually same day
Movement Tune
A gentle tune of the movement to steady the rate, with cleaning and light lubrication where helpful. Suited to automatics running a little fast or slow. Turnaround is several days. Includes a timing reading before and after.
What is included
- Rate measurement on a timing machine before work begins
- Movement examined for wear, debris, and oil condition
- Regulator adjustment to improve timekeeping accuracy
- Light cleaning and lubrication where appropriate
- Final timing reading and results given to customer
Process and timeline
- Watch received and initial rate measured
- Movement examined and plan discussed with customer
- Regulator adjusted; cleaning and lubrication as needed
- Watch allowed to run for 24–48 hours before final reading
- Results documented and watch returned — several days total
Full Care and Refinish
A complete care service combining movement work with a gentle case refinish for a tidy, comfortable result. Intended for treasured watches worn over many years. Scheduled over two to three weeks. Includes a written summary and a seal check.
What is included
- Full movement service with cleaning and lubrication
- Rate regulation and timing results documented
- Gentle case and bracelet refinish (preserves original finishing where possible)
- All gaskets replaced and pressure test completed
- Written service summary provided on collection
Process and timeline
- Watch received, condition photographed and documented
- Movement disassembled, cleaned, and inspected
- Lubrication and reassembly; rate regulated
- Case and bracelet refinished gently
- New gaskets fitted and pressure test carried out
- Watch allowed to settle; final checks before collection
- Written summary handed over — two to three weeks total

Your watch is kept secure
Individually tagged and stored. Nothing shared with other watches or left unattended.
Contact before unexpected changes
If anything discovered during the service would affect the price or scope, we stop and call you.
Pressure-aware reassembly
Every service that opens the case includes a seal check before the watch goes back together.
Responsible parts disposal
Old batteries go through appropriate disposal. We do not bin hazardous materials carelessly.
Original parts returned
Any removed parts — crown, original strap, packaging — come back with the watch, not left behind.
Honest guidance on scope
If your watch needs something outside what we offer, we say so clearly rather than attempt it.
